# Pause your subscription instead of cancelling

> Pause billing for up to three months and keep your data and client portals online.

Pausing is useful for seasonal work or a long holiday.

- Billing stops at the end of the current period.
- Client portals stay online in read-only mode.
- You can resume at any time; billing restarts that day.

Go to **Settings → Billing → Pause** and pick 1, 2 or 3 months. You can pause twice per year.
