# Webhooks

> Receive an HTTP request when something happens in Acme.

Add an endpoint in **Settings → API → Webhooks** and choose events such as `invoice.paid` or `client.created`.

Each request is signed. Check the `Acme-Signature` header with your endpoint's secret before trusting the payload. Failed deliveries are retried for 24 hours with exponential backoff.
